BARACK OBAMA: The message I have for them is no different than the message I have for the rest of the country, which is, I 3)ran for office to not only deal with a 4)looming 5)economic crisis but also 6)reverse a decade in which middle-class families had seen their security 7)erode.
And everything I’ve done — most of the time in cooperation with Congress, but sometimes working around Congress — has been 8)geared toward that central goal of making sure that we have a strong, 9)vibrant, growing middle class and we got 10) ladders of opportunity for people who are willing to work hard to get into the middle class.
